1. Platform Role & Responsibility Disclaimer
LYRN serves as a connection platform only.
LYRN does not provide, oversee, or guarantee mentorship services
LYRN does not facilitate or process payments between users
LYRN is not responsible for agreements, outcomes, or disputes between members
All mentorship arrangements, including:
-Pricing
-Scheduling
-Scope of training
-Payment
…are handled independently outside of the platform.
LYRN does not verify, certify, endorse, supervise, or guarantee the qualifications, safety, training outcomes, legality, or business practices of independent educators or learners using the Platform. Users participate in off-platform interactions at their own discretion and risk.
2. Licensing & Scope of Practice
All members are responsible for operating within their professional and legal boundaries.
By using LYRN, you agree that:
You will only offer or receive services within your licensed scope of practice
You will comply with your state’s laws, regulations, and board requirements
You will independently verify the credentials and licensure of any individual you choose to work with
LYRN does not verify licenses and assumes no responsibility for user credentials or compliance.
3. Mentor Expectations
Mentors using LYRN are expected to:
-Represent their skills, experience, and qualifications honestly
-Provide services and training as agreed upon (outside of the platform)
-Communicate clearly and professionally with learners
-Maintain ethical, safe, and legal practices at all times
Failure to meet these standards may result in removal from the platform.
4. Learner Expectations
Learners are expected to:
-Conduct due diligence before entering into any mentorship agreement
-Communicate respectfully and professionally
-Take responsibility for verifying that training aligns with their licensure and scope
5. Professional Conduct
This is a professional community.
The following will not be tolerated:
-Harassment, bullying, or aggressive behavior
-Attacking or undermining other members in comments or messages
-Misleading claims or false representation
-Unprofessional or disruptive conduct
We are building a space that is:
-Supportive.
-Respectful.
-Growth-focused.
6. Reporting & Accountability
If a member experiences or observes:
-Misconduct
-Unsafe or unethical practices
-Failure to deliver paid mentorship services (outside the platform)
-Misrepresentation of credentials
They are encouraged to report it.
LYRN reserves the right to Review reported concerns, Request additional information, and Suspend or permanently remove members from the platform
7. Membership Billing & Access
Membership fees, billing frequency, and included benefits will be disclosed at the time of enrollment. Memberships automatically renew unless canceled prior to the next billing cycle. Failed or declined payments may result in suspension or termination of account access until billing issues are resolved. LYRN reserves the right to modify membership pricing, features, or benefits at any time with reasonable notice. Unless otherwise stated, membership fees are non-refundable.
Membership fees:
-Cover access to the platform and community
-Do not include or relate to mentorship transactions.
LYRN does not take commissions on mentorship agreements.
8. Zero Liability Clause
By using LYRN, you acknowledge and agree:
-LYRN is not liable for any outcomes, damages, or disputes resulting from connections made on the platform
-All mentorship agreements are entered into at your own discretion and risk
-You assume full responsibility for your professional actions and decisions
9. Removal from Platform
LYRN reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to any account for violations of these Guidelines, suspected fraud, misuse of the Platform, unprofessional behavior, payment-related issues, or conduct deemed harmful to the integrity of the community.

LYRN is not just a directory, it’s a network of professionals building each other up.
We expect members to:

-Share knowledge responsibly
-Support growth without competition-driven negativity
11. Account Security & User Responsibility
Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and all activity occurring under their account. Sharing accounts, impersonating another user, or allowing unauthorized access to your account is prohibited. Users are responsible for ensuring that all account and profile information remains accurate and current.
12. Intellectual Property & Content Use
Users retain ownership of content they voluntarily post, submit, or share through LYRN, including profile information, testimonials, educational content, and community participation materials. By submitting content through the Platform, users grant LYRN a non-exclusive right to display, promote, or reference such content for platform operations, marketing, educational, or promotional purposes unless otherwise prohibited by law. Users may not copy, scrape, reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit content, materials, educator listings, or member information from the Platform without permission.
13. Platform Changes & Service Availability
LYRN reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the Platform, community features, membership benefits, directory listings, or services at any time without guaranteed continuity of specific features.
